3rd International Congress on Pedagogical Mediation in Language Learning «Cultural Sensitivity and Technological Innovation for Language Learning and Acquisition»
This event takes place from June 11 to 13.
The International Congress on Pedagogical Mediation in Language Learning, organized by UNAD’s Master’s Program in Pedagogical Mediation in English Language Learning, brings together educators, researchers, and academics worldwide. This year, the congress theme «Cultural Sensitivity and Technological Innovation for Language Learning and Acquisition» addresses the importance of cultural awareness and technological advances in the language learning process. The congress seeks to explore new perspectives in language teaching and pedagogical mediation through discussions, educational practices, and research collaboration. This free and certified event provides a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in the field of language teaching, to improve the quality of language education.
Thematic Axes
Proposals are welcome in the following topic strands (suggested but not limited to):
- Pedagogical mediation in language learning: Benefits and challenges of pedagogical mediation in language learning.
- Evaluation and curriculum in language teaching: Advances in evaluation, didactics, and curriculum for foreign language learning, bilingual education, and mother tongue teaching.
- Linguistic research in educational contexts: Practical applications of linguistic-sociolinguistic and literary research in educational contexts to improve language teaching and learning.
- Cultural sensitivity in language teaching: Research and experiences that seek to integrate cultural sensitivity in language learning, fostering an environment that values diversity and promotes a deeper understanding of different cultures.
- Technological innovation in language acquisition: Digital literacy and language acquisition, including the use of tools, digital resources, and AI to support foreign/maternal language learning in culturally diverse contexts.
